Jim Jacks, private detective had always frequented the Saxophone, a blues bar located right here in the big apple, New York.
It was Thursday, a wet soaking Thursday. The rain washed the dirt off the pavement at the entrance of Saxophone.
Jim landed at a nearby tree, climbed down the trunk and walked to the main door of the blues bar. He ruffled his feathers and shrugged off the water on his vertebrate body. He then pushed open the door with his wings.
The bar was filled with other species of birds. A group of blue heron played the trumpets through their yellow beaks. The bars was surprisingly crowded on a Thursday night. The noise gradually lowered down as Jim walked from the entrance to the bar top. As the saying goes bird of the same feather flock together- until the cat comes, which in this case was Jim. When he for a fact was an American bald eagle and that was naturally intimidating.
